Carl Lewis Burt Jr., 73, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at his home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Shannon-Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Burt, a lifelong area resident, attended Arlington Heights High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked for 26 years as a cashier at Courtney's Restaurant, formerly Chenault's Restaurant, in Lake Worth. Survivors: His wife, JoAnn McDonald Burt of Lake Worth; children, Raymond Thomas Coleman of Arlington, Carla Jo Nations of Azle, Sarah Sue Burt and Jodee Ann Burt, both of Lake Worth; sister, JoAnn Burt of Burleson; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
