The State of Indiana to Jeptha Garrigun, Justice of the Peace of Said County:
Know you that we trusting your fidelity and provident circumspection to the diligent examination of witnesses as well in behalf of Robert Glidewell defendant, in a a certain cause now pending and undetermined in our Probate Court in and for our said County of Parke, command you that on the 15th day of March between the hours of 2 and 4 o’clock, P.M. of said day, you call and cause to come before you Herman Nelson and such other persons as the said parties or either of them may require, and them you diligently examine upon their oaths in all things touching or concerning the said cause, and their examinations into our said court to be holden at Rockville in our said county on the 2nd Monday of May next, you plainly and distinctly under your hand and seal send certified and enclosed, together with this writ.
