Catherine Taylor - Burial Notes
A representative Of Grove Hill Cemetery was contacted in August of 2011. He checked the cemetery records and found that there are four individuals interred in section 16, lot 48: George D. Clinger his wife Catherine E. Clinger, Mary E. Clinger and Julia Taylor. Catherine's burial took place 21 October 1902, this also was the source of her middle initial "E" and verification of Catherine with a "C". Mary E. Clinger is Catherine and George's daughter Mary Elizabeth, her interment took place 2 May 1927 this implies she passed away at the very end of April. Since she is buried under the name "Clinger" and with her parents it is very likely she never married or had any children. Julia Taylor must be from Catherine's "Taylor" side of the family and given her age is probably an unmarried sister, her burial took place 9 August 1914. To be buried with Catherine and George after their passing implies Julia had to have been a very close family relation. Julia Taylor's obituary also refers to "...pallbearers were William T. and Carl Clinger nephews..." which also implies she was Catherine's sister.
