Description:
Higbee purchases a boat and moves to Huntington. He was the captain of the boat doing extensive bussiness with the West indies to where he made several trips. In 1660, his boat was presumed lost at sea. His wife passed away, and his children were moved to the custody of Thomas Skidmore Jr. (their uncle.) Higbee ended up returning safely, and there on he gave up the sea as a career.
