“Aug 24, 1797, Edward Eastman and Molly Eastman of Corinth Vt.; Edmond Davis of New London, Josiah Davis of New London, Jonathan Jones & Anna Jones of Hawke; John Heath & Dorothy Heath of Springfield; Daniel Bean & Elizabeth Bean of Springfield; Jacob Flanders and Lois Flanders of Hampstead; heirs to the estate of Josiah Davis, late of Hampstead, grant to Jesse Davis all right, title & interest in the estate of our father, Josiah Davis, late of Hampstead.” (I:11). In 1799, Jacob Flanders of Hampstead, bought land in Springfield N.H. from Daniel Bean of Springfield, an don the same date sold land in Springfield to Jesse Davis of Hampstead (I:11). May 5, 1817, Jacob Flanders and his wife, Lois, sold land in Springfield to David Colcord.
