OBEDIAH DAVIS (4, John, Fohraim, John) was born at Hv, July 14, 1720. He sett. at Hampstead, N.H., c. 1734; and and on Jan l, 1743–4 signed a petition to the Gov. of N.H. asking that a new parish be formed between Kingston and Haverhill. He mar Sarah, dau of Mr. Joseph and Mary (Philbrick) Colby of West Ames, and Hampstead.
