Mrs. Catherine Clinger wife of George Clinger, a resident of Walnut Bend for the past 40 years, died suddenly at the family residence Sunday night at 6:30 o'clock from heart trouble. She had been in her usual good health until 3 o'clock in the afternoon when she became alarmingly ill and died at the time noted. She was 72 years of age and was born and reared in Clarion County. She is survived by her husband and the following children: C.C. Clinger, Siverly; William T. Clinger, the well known grocer of this city; Miss Mary Clinger, at home; Mrs. James Mosher, of Kane; Mrs. Fred Tuttle, of Walnut Bend.

The Funeral services of the late Mrs. George Clinger, who died Sunday evening at the family home at Walnut Bend, were held at the residence this morning at 10 o'clock, Reverend W. H. Dodds, pastor of Grace M. E. Church, officiating. The body was brought to this city on the noon train and taken direct to Grove Hill Cemetery for interment.
