MACGILLIVRAY, ROBERT D. April 24, 1922 - Oct. 12, 2005. Memorial services will be held for Dr. Robert Davidson MacGillivray on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Waud's Funeral Home in Tillamook.
Dr. MacGillivray was born April 24, 1922, and passed away Oct. 12, 2005, at the age of 83. Dr. MacGillivray was raised in Seattle. He attended school in Scotland and later graduated with honors from Pacific University Optometry College. He settled his family in Tillamook and opened his optometry practice there in 1956.
Dr. MacGillivray served during World War II from 1944 to 1945. Dr. MacGillivray is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Bonnie MacGillivray, son, Bill; their spouses; and grandchildren, Michelle and Grant MacGillivray.
