Teuwise (Matthew) Abrahamsen Van Deusen (son of Abraham Pietersen Van Deusen and Tryntje Melchiors) was born 1631 in New Amsterdam, Albany Co, New York. He married Helena Roberts in 1653 in New Amsterdam, New York.(Van Deursen is the 0riginal Dutch spelling of the name - shortened to Van Deusen & Van Dusen in America with later generations)Re-interred from New Scotland Cemetery. They were also the 7th G/Grandparents of President Franklin D Roosevelt.
