James McGinnis - Florence Pioneer Passes Away
James McGinnis's Obituary:
James McGinnis, aged 64 years, died at Florence on Dec. 23rd, 1914. The deceased was born at Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada. On July 3rd, 1883, he as married to Mary Ellen Donahoe in Chicago, Illinois and in 1891 came to Florence where he resided up to the time of his death.
He leaves to mourn him, widow, three sons, Thomas, James, John , and one daughter, Agnes, one sister, Mrs. P. Fitzpatrick, and four brothers, Patrick, John, and Arthur of Seattle and Hugh, of Florence. Funeral servies took place from the Catholic Church, East Stanwood, on Saturday at 10:30am. Father O'Donnell of Everett, delivered the funeral ceremony. Interment took place in the Florence Cemetery under the direction of Undertaker C.J. Gunderson.
