Administration of Estate
To all whom these presents shall come -- Where as Horatio Beall of Clarendon in the county of Rutland and state of Vermont administrator to the estate of Jesse King last of Clarendon in the county of Rutland deceased by order of the Court of Probate for the district of Rutland which was held at Rutland in the county of Rutland on the 14th day of April AD 182? [ink blot] was licensed to sell the real estate of said deceased for the payment of his just debts and incidental charges. Therefore know ye that I the said Horatio Beall administrator as aforesaid as well by virtue of the power and authority to me given as aforesaid and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and ninety dollars and twenty nine cents to me in hand paid by Susan King of Clarendon in the county of Rutland and state aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby in said capacity grant bargain and sell promise release and forever quit claim unto the said Susan her heirs and assigns all the right title interest property and den [??] and which the aforesaid deceased had in and to a certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in Clarendon and bounded as follows vs: South and east on land owned by the heirs of Daniel Colvin north on land owned by Levi Colvin and Abner Colvin west on Ira Town line containing seventy five acres let the same be more or less. For a further description of the aforesaid premises reference may be had to the deed and survey bills of the deceased on the Records of the Town of Clarendon. To have and to hold the aforesaid premises to her the said Susan her heirs and assigns forever so that neither I in said capacity nor any other person or persons in my name shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the premises aforesaid or any part thereof but they and every of them shall by these presents be excluded and forever barred. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of July AD 1823 in presence of Emeline Beall and Harriet Beall.
