"John Boag, 1861-1937. John married Anna Emilie Ross Boag (widow of John's brother Peter) in Tyler, Spokane County, Washington, in 1891. Anna is buried at Lincoln Park Memorial Cemetery, also in southeast Portland. Until 2008, John's grave was marked by a simple concrete slab with John's name etched into it. In 2008, a family member had this stone put in its place."
