Description:
Josiah Davis and Obediah Davis signed a petition for a parish together, along with Otho Stevens. The two brothers lived near the eastern shores of Wash Pond, which was home to several pioneer families. It's described that Josiah Davis "(it is supposed) followed the "twelve rod way" tract from the Davis land at East Haverhill to the land near the eastern shore of the Wash pond."
