In 1840 there was a 30-40 year old John Lowry living in Parke, Indiana with two girls, aged 5-10 and 10-15. This is most likely Mary Lowry, her father, and a sister, very likely Sarah Lowry, who was living in Parke, Indiana with the Overpeck family ten years later in 1850. Sarah was also born in Ohio, and would have been 7 years old at the time of the 1840 census. Sarah later married Albert Conine, and is living right next door to them in the small township of Elk River, Clinton County, Iowa.
