James Franklin & Hannah Tolman - Actual Records but Transcribed to Rootsweb

Rounds' VR's for Swansea, p. 184
"James Franklin of Providence and Hannah Tolman of Barrington was marriyed
by Jus Bradford p ye 30th of april 1738".

First note that the April 13 date is that of the marriage intentions, and
that the marriage occurred in Swansea, not Barrington, on April 30. Also
Hannah's surname is given as "Talman" and "Tolman" (both often used
spellings for Tallman) and not "Cook". If Hannah had been the widow of
Chaplain Cook, her married name would normally have been used in the record
of her marriage to James Franklin.

Then, in the birth records of Attleboro, Bristol, MA VR's, p. 122, I found
the following children of James & Hannah (Tolman) Franklin
Betty, b. 30 Sep 1739
James, b. 28 Jan 1740
Henery, b. 27 Oct 1741
Hannah, b. 6 Jul 1747
Martha, b. 8 Aug 1748
Joseph, b. 5 Mar 1759
