For the office of Inspectors of Election, one thousand and forty - nine votes were given, of which William McDonald received 388 votes ; Charles L. Franklin received 385 votes ; Moses F. Odell received 136 votes ; Henry Vander - veer received 138 votes ; Aaron VV. Johnson received 1 vote ; George N, Mead received 1 vote. And we do further declare and publish that Peter C. Cornell and William A. Green are elected Aldermen, George Sturges is elected Collector, Robert D. Babcock is. elected Constable, John Dimon and James Walters are elected Assessors, and William McDonald and Charles L. Franklin are elected Inspectors of Election, respectively ot the said Third Ward.
