She was a daughter of Pieter Pieterson Quackenbush and Maritje (Maria) Ariens. She was born at Oegstgeest, near Leiden, the Netherlands. She married Marten Cornelisse Maas Van Buren as his first wife of two. She had at least eight children. The child that was my ancestor was Cornelia Martense Van Buren, born about 1665 to 1668 who married Robert Teuwis (Matthew) Van Deusen on September 22, 1689, probably at Albany, New York. I am descended from their son Tobias Van Deusen, born in 1696 who married Ariantje (Harriet) Mulder.

Tobias and Ariantje lived on what is now a border area between Greenport and Claverack in Columbia County, New York. It is likely she is buried in an unmarked grave here as old graves in Albany and the surrounding area were dug up as the city and surrounding area expanded and civil authorities took it upon themselves to move the mortal remains of many of the dead.
