Daniel Comstock came from England to America in 1635 with his parents and siblings. His family lived in Watertown, MA and then Wethersfield, CT. Referred to by some as "Gideon", Daniel received a free grant of 25 acres on January 29, 1646, from Providence, Rhode Island.
