The Johnston farm he gave to his son Robert, which farm was afterwards owned by Henry du Bois. James Van Deusen and his wife are buried on this farm, near the old hay barn. James Van Deusen was said to have been exceedingly tall, and was thus nicknamed "Foyer" by the members of his family.
