Polly Johnson, his consort, was born October 15, 1796 and died July 1, 1854. They were married December 3, 1812. Came to Missouri in 1830 and settled near Boles Gap on the Missouri River in Franklin County. Both died near there in 1854 during the cholera epidemic.
