Jeremiah F. Jenkins, a well-known citizen of Jefferson Township, Scotland Co., Mo., was born in Bullitt County, Ky., November 11, 1811, and is the son of William N. and Priscilla B. (Hoskins) Jenkins.      The father was born in Maryland, and followed the occupations of a farmer and a shoemaker.
